I'm not a bit surprised!
BHT is in cereal boxes and kids eat cereal from a very young age. BHT has been proven to cause sterility in male rats. What is it doing to our little boys who eat the cereal?

Clean up our food supply....please sign and share if you haven't already:

This is a major problem that highlights the issues with the FDA not being porperly funded and not being sufficiently independent from BIG corporations. Chemical stuff is just put on the market with little or no honest evaluation of the impacts to humans, of how the food will react to them, how exposures and contomination will build up over time.

Hard to believe that there is a government agency elected to oversee the safty of our food and anything related to it . . . . . .

seems to be a never ending line of really scary stuff in or around our food...they probably have known too but won't ban like many others

Artificial packaging is suspect not only for what it does to people but also what it does to the environment.

A related article from that same source stated that these chemicals could also increase one's cholesterol. Don't tell the pharma industry that. They have wanted to sell statin drugs over the counter and so far have been denied. I love waxed paper. Have asked my groceries to supply waxed paper to put my produce in but they will only supply plastic. Food turns bad very quickly when stored in the frig in those plastic bags. Guess one can put the popcorn in a glass dish and it will turn out better cause you can see if it is starting to burn.
Thanks Hans, you must stay up all night finding these great issues! Cannot send another green star yet.

It has been known for some time, yet the industry makes no changes to improve. It is up to the consumer to demand action.

We have to think & eat FRESH produce to survive all of the toxins the food industry throws our way.

Is anyone really surprised? It's junk food, why would the wrappers be healthy?

This is not at all surprising. I thankfully subsist mainly on raw fruits and vegetables, and consume packaged foods on very rare occasions... better for the planet and for the body.

This is another shock to the nervous system!!! Don't people wonder why cancer is so prevalent? As I learned on Care2, cancer is manmade.

Another product to avoid, is aluminum foil. Please, never use it next to food, especially tomatoes or anything else acidic. Staying away from plastic wrap cannot be a bad thing, either.

Why is it that these chemicals are allowed to be used in this way without knowing the effects on the human body? It is only logical that such chemicals could be harmful.
