Gunhawk says it will not cancel the prairie dog hunt and they're doing it because prairie dogs cause problems for farmers and ranchers.

Like Laurie says: "These animals are here for a reason!" Everyone has a purpose on this earth.

Healthy prairies are FULL of Prairie Dogs. Hmmmm ... not too many healthy prairies left in the U.S. are there?

People are the problem---humans it seems are intent on killing every last animal on the planet. I wish animals could fight back and jolt us into exercising common sense. Long live the Prairie dogs! Thx Carrie

They're not doing it for the farmers, they're doing it for the publicity. They're sickening.

G-d forbid. Prairie dogs are important to the eco system.

Thanks, Carrie.
The article says, "This is the same shop that made national headlines for its coyote hunting contest.". Seems like the real problem is due to a group of large creepy bipeds.

We are the top predator and it is our destiny to kill everything and when that is done to truly really aggressively kill ourselves

Poor things. They've as much right to be there as anyone else.

And to accuse them of 'damage'...Coming from ranchers and farmers that's a bit rich.

Prairie Dogs are so cute! How could anyone want to harm them. Is there a petition to stop this wrong hunt

I have often wondered how these hunters would feel if people decided to hunt them, after all they are good for nothing, they just kill and kill and kill. Who needs them, certainly not the animals.

What are these guys going to go after next? First the coyote hunt now the prairie dog, after the run out of animals to kill what will be their target practice then? Why don't they shoot themselves and then the problem would be solved. No one needs a bunch of ignorant men running around with guns. Disgusting
