Infected snail meat, poisonous mushrooms, goat meat marinated in duck urine to make it taste and smell like lamb - these are just some of the culinary delights that China's food industry has served to its citizens since 2006.

Not holding my breath--it's China we're talking about. There are no food safety regulations there so they gotta start inventing some! Thx Carrie

More racist comments in regards to the Chinese. Sad. And this is supposed to be a site for people who care. Yeah right.

Susan, I don't buy into it. I do not buy anything, including pet food/toys/treats from China. If I cannot get it made in USA or Ireland or Canada, I do not buy it. There are several online stores that deal strictly with made in America products. It is not that hard to find them or American made products. And if one can't find them or choose a country with as high or even higher standards than ours, do without it or make it yourself. That's how I combat Chinese products.

It is not China Bashing if it is TRUE Natalie. They do NOT have regulations on the majority of their industries. But, one way to combat it they have found is to execute CEO's and owners of businesses that have caused harm to their citizenry or those of outside countries that may cause them to loose money. So, would I rather have regulations and see them ENFORCED in China or executions.....I'd rather the regulations but there is no guarantee that they will be enforced.

And yet China is refusing GMO products from USA! They have been turned away several times. Seems kind of hypocritical to me.
