I believe that every Floridian who is sick should be able to see a doctor. Every person should get the necessary care to stay healthy and alive. Sadly, not every Floridian can afford health care.

A tragic and unnecessary death resulting from the Republicans refusal to accept no-strings-attached financial aid from the federal government for Medicaid. The working poor are dying needlessly from this grievously wrong ideological (and illogical) misconduct.. Shame, shame, shame. We don't know how these people can even face themselves in the mirror.

This should never happen in a country calling itself civilized! This speaks of shameful, self serving, loathsome political maneuvering which can not continue to be tolerated!

This is the worst. Three little boys left motherless and a good, hard working, caring mom dead. All caused by the selfish, cruel ideology of the rich and powerful. Please share this important news story and column widely.
Thank you all..

I love living in Florida = BUT = I can't stand the Republican (backward) "leadership"
Thanks for sharing Carrie!

To Republican lawmakers in Tallahassee, on behalf of all of Florida, I have one request of you: Choose life. Expand Medicaid. Take the money. And spare 1 million Floridians from suffering, from sickness and from death. - quoted from the article.
If the Republicans had done this in the first place, this young mother might still be alive. Now there are three little boys left alone without their mother.
The Republicans have been selfish and cruel in their political maneuvering.
Thanks for the article Carrie.
