An Israeli initiative to exploit a group of Palestinian orphans from Gaza to burnish Israel's blood-soaked image backfired on Sunday when Hamas, the Palestinian political and military resistance movement, put a stop to it.

World (tags: Israel, hamas, brainwashing, terrorism, children )
Barbara - 1 day ago - ynetnews.com
Israel reached deal to allow group of Gaza children whose parents were killed in war with IDF to visit Israel, but at the last minute Hamas prevented event, calling it attempt to 'brainwash' kids.

Misleading, disingenuous (thanks Brucie), confused comment??

I just read the article again and also had a look at the comment section where I found this very to the point posting by “Seeds of peace”, submitted by dave (not verified) on Tue, 12/30/2014 - 15:43 ... interesting and most logical question to ask:

"Marshak:

"...they will remember this positive experience well and know that they can live in peace, nation next to nation."

Great. So was he also planning to send a group of Israeli kids to Gaza?"

PS A bit of info on Seeds of Peace for those who are interested.

Saeb Moh’d Erekat is on the “board of directors of Seeds of Peace, a U.S.-based non-profit program that promotes tolerance by teaching teenagers from regions of conflict the skills of making peace. He is a regular speaker at Seeds events in the U.S. and Occupied Territories, and three of his children are graduates of the program.”
