Jon Stewart returned to The Daily Show on Monday to scoff at Republicans who are suddenly willing to distance themselves from Donald Trump ~ but only after he bad-mouthed one of their own in Arizona Sen. John McCain.

Trump is definitely the American version of the UK's Boris Johnson.

Actually I'm finding Donald Trump rather amusing in the fact that the Republicans don't seem to know what to do with him or how to handle him. Sort of like getting a taste of their own medicine. I can't wait for the debates only to view the "show". lol

I wonder how long he can last before he is told he is fired. The answer seems to be in the Republican version of the Apprentice he is the nastiest sociopath in a murder of sociopaths with his chronic masturbator hairstyle he has repeatedly shown what a wanker he is. However, as the rogue candidate he is merely in to cause chaos with his increasingly unbalanced behavior wreaking mayhem and undermining the party. Because in terms of annihilating the GOP brand, he’s doing a fantastic job.

Oh, please Jon, reconsider retirement until after Trump has been kicked out of the race. The way you take down Trump a peg is still improving each time you do it, it's nearing perfection, but I'm sure you'll reach that at the very moment he's sent off with his tail between his legs and a few millions poorer.

Noted. Thanks, Carrie.

As I watched this when it was broadcast, I was alternating between smiling, applause and laughter. Nobody does it better! (But, I will be looking forward to checking out Colbert in Sept.)
Seemed to me that he was being "tolerated" by the GOP when he was insulting Mexicans. In fact, he pretty much made the other candidates look almost sane by comparison, and I think they were happy with that. Now, they can all pile on him---ok, next candidate up.....get ready to rise and then fall.....
