A week ago, Amnesty International published a report on Israel's summary executions of Palestinians. The no-holds-barred report was considerably softened for the organizations's much shorter Hebrew press release. The Hebrew version had been changed ...

Apart from interpretations in different languages varying due to translation, any idea?

Very disappointing that Amnesty International lets itself be browbeaten by Israel. It seems they expect the Israeli media will not pay any attention to their reports unless they soften the summary for the Israeli press release and leave key information out. They are probably well aware that this will play right into the hands of the Israeli government and also that the full report in English which they include in the release will be ignored. Including an English version only serves to quieten their own conscience.

The fact that israel is always given a pass on their behavior makes a mockery of the rule of law everywhere. Even common decency is absent when discussing any of israels intentions or actions. The world just watches and does nothing most of the time.
I hope this is correct by Amnesty International and never happens again.

I think today everybody is aware of not accused as "anti-Semites" :)
Plus, the political - and not only - influence of Israel...

Actually, the whole Amnesty International report is a load of lies and that includes the bit that carrie has put as a description. There have been no summary executions, each Palestinian carrying a weapon was warned to drop it.

jess has insulted me on an article yet I see nothing but anti-Semitism/Judeophobia by the racists on this article and many others. No-one here speaks out against the ethnic cleansing of Christians and any other minority "living" in Muslim controlled countries. No-one speaks out about the murders, the rapes, the forced conversions and marriages, the forcible payment of jizya nor the lies told so that the person is arrested and killed. And what about the Muslim gilrs married off at the age of 8 years old some of whom DIE on their WEDDING NIGHT. Sick perverted old pedophiles yet NOT ONE OF YOU HAS SAID ANYTHING AGAINST IT. Pathetic! What about the women who have no rights or those taken as slaves. Silence on the over 20 million slaves in these countries including the deaths suffered whilst building the football stadium in Qatar. Even more pathetic!

I stand up for Palestinians who are abused by their own people, something all of you here ignore. The Palestinians in other countries are never mentioned by anyone here either, Judeophobia puts a gag on everybody. If Israel is not involved then it is acceptable to ill treat and abuse Palestinians. And it is equally acceptable to watch Israelis of all ages die and say nothing. So pathetic it is a joke.
