Our cities no matter where in the world is bound to have people from other places within them. We are a global community now, with air travel and international relations among Countries people from all sorts of places might be among the dead and wounded.

All of them were important to someone, all of them were special to somebody. Most were young from what is my understanding, so as Gloria said, we'll never know her contributions to the world. But today she is most mourned by someone who called her daughter, the loss of a child is a deep deep pain. The rest of the world has lost a bit of it's humanity with these vicious attacks.

I'm sorry the world is getting to know you Nohemi in this way......to your friends, family, and fellow students it is a more personal loss for them.

I hope her last days were joyful up to the moment of death. A beautiful smile, she must have made many people happy to have seen it. May you smile down on your family, dear one. Send them your love, give them peace, soothe their hearts. Let them remember your presence and do good in your name. You have started a spark of love, it will not flicker and die with your physical body.
