The expansion of palm oil plantations into rainforests and customary Indigenous lands throughout SE Asia is causing widespread social conflict and deforestation - and Cargill has no way to ensure consumers that the palm oil it purchases and distributes...

We blame those that slash and burn the rainforest to plant palm oil plantations. We blame the corporations that import the palm oil and manufacture it into products. We blame the government for not doing anything about it. When are "we the people of these united states" going to get our fat butts off of our couches, away from our computers, and go stand in front of a mirror and assess our own culpability? We consume and/or waste more of everything than the rest of the people that live or have ever lived on this planet combined. When are we going to acknowledge the blood on our hands? When are we going to own the fact that we are pigs intent on devastating every inch of this planet? We don't even have the integrity to take responsibility for all the small daily choices that we make that are killing this earth. We blame everyone else, but never ourselves. We are a blind, decadent, foolish people too stuck up and too ignorant to change our poisonous way of life and it is killing us and everyone else.

Nature is a series of processes that have worked sufficiently in harmony to create a world in which life is not only possible but actively works in helping to maintain homeostasis i.e. "balance." We have already impacted the "balance" of these processes of nature, such that nature is moving towards a new homeostasis. This new "balance" will be much harsher; there is a decreasing probability that our species will survive. After a vast amount of time, nature may yet again return to the balance it had before our species evolved sufficiently to alter that balance; but we will be gone.

We have sown destruction and even now are reaping whirlwinds. Expect more bad weather and much, much worse. Who knows? There may, at some point in the future, not even be anyone left to point the finger at all of us, Americans, to accuse of the crimes against humanity and nature that we have committed.

A response to VEGETARIANS & VEGANS and to all those who are convinced not to use Palm Oil::

Palm Oil is NOT always DECLARED on Labels!!! Or Label simply says: "Vegetable Oils"!!
Try to read a Chips Packet Label, just as an example!!
This is a real offence to all customers, but particularly to VEGANS and VEGETARIANS devoting their lifestyle not to hurt animals, while, like all other customers, they are

UNWILLINGLY and UNCONSCIOUSLY contributing to the

SLAUGHTER of Tigers, Elephants, Rhinos, Clouded Leopards, Sun Bears, Wildlife & Biodiversity...

and to the

GENOCIDE of Orangutans, who share 97% DNA with us!!!
