as long as any being lives in fear, hate, exploitation and death at the hands of man so shall all men live under this same threat, don't fool yourself no one is free as long as another is oppressed. withdraw your consent for as long as we agree to the small things we have agreed to the big ones, the pebble seems so small but its effects are far reaching
protect life, prosecute those that seek to destroy our shared home and our fellow beings
life has value beyond measure
Peace and Love

Dirty? I wish we were talking mud here, but we are talking deadly toxins. And companies like these give their investors a 36% return on the dollar but I'll bet a gazillion dollars (yes, that's a big pile'o'cashola) that those investors don't have an inkling about the true cost of all that yummy profit. Down here they want to set up a gold mine that will require 110 tons of cyanide *per month* over 6 or 7 years to extract the gold from the ore. And will they take the cyanide leachate with them when their done? Silly. Of course not. They plan to dump it into open air leaching ponds. In the tropics, that spells volatilized toxins and don't even get me started on what will happen to the quality of the water table & the well water... so important in coastal communities. And, speaking of water, this gold mining operation would use the same amount of fresh water per year as the state's capital consumes... that's a city of 460,000 people. In a country where potable water processing facilities are very limited, and in some parts of the city household water availability is rotated (six days on, one day none) that just doesn't seem right. Those affected are mostly folks who are just getting by and who can't afford to move (not that they should even have to), and whose complaints fall on deaf ears because, oh yeah, the guys who authorize the permits... Well, let's just say there's some kind of benefit for them. This ain't rocket science. But it is unfair in so many ways. Nope. Can't say I'm a fan of this type of resource extraction operation at all. Tx for the post Nancy.

The whole world have been tricked by greed and deception they even count a human life as unworthy to live for the sake of money. The root of all evil. The Bible prove to be right about this.
