Thank you Debbie--you are 100% correct--sometimes, to see the future, you must take a hard look at the past.
Thank you Nancy for an interesting article.

I'm with Debbie... there is too much anti-worker sentiment in Walmart's management to trust them... but we can have hope.

Thanks for posting this article Nancy. I am with the workers 100%, and we have to stay on top of this to see that Walmart keeps it's commitment. They have made so much money on the back's of workers and now is the time to give something back.

We have wanted this to happen 20 years ago!
Good for them!
See what happens when you make a stand!
Yes we agree with many don't trust Walmart! We
Want the workers to do well!
Maybe Walmart has seen the difference in Sales lately???
Lines at the checkout and the Complaints
Shelves empty, terrible produce, etc! THINGS MAY HAVE TO CHANGE!!????

Now let's think if they can open 4,000 stores they can treat the workers a lot better!!
Furnish benefits and wages! Managers get BIG BONUSES!!!
Maybe QUALITY of items in the store could change too!

Nice finally Walmart is helping out w/ employees schedules, now they just need to offer more money to them to get them off the Welfare Line. As it is costing the tax payer more and as a tax payer I don't want to pay, whether it means shopping somewhere else to make a point.

It takes courage to stand up for what is right and fair. I admire these people for asking for what they deserve. Thank you, Nancy!

Well, this is good for a change, for years all I hear about Walmart are bad news and how bad they treat their employers. Thanks Nancy

Hooray - but Timeo Danaos - like everyone else I don't trust Walmart either - their history of past behaviour surely bears witness against them.
