We have to stop big businesses from going after smaller, new upstarts out of greed. If this can happen to my daughter, it can happen to any new company. We take a stand now.

Hype Wipe is way out of line, but the product in question does appear, based upon the limited information at the petition site, to infringe on the branding already established by Hype Wipe. Nonetheless, Hype Wipe is out of its mind to sue a little girl. They should settle as quickly as possible. The little girl withdraws her product, and Hype Wipe apologizes profusely for discouraging such an intelligent girl from striving to develop innovative products...then they should set up a trust fund for her future education in science and technology. Otherwise, the cost of the PR nightmare will far surpass any costs they feared from copyright infringement and/or brand confusion.

Wow they were scared of a 14 year old? Look buddies, there are three possibilities.

1) This 14 is just a genius and thus deserves to win over your customers because you can't keep up.

2) Your company just sucks so much that a 14 year old can outwit you.

3) Both 1 & 2.

Bonus: If you bully kids, I don't care how good your stupid products are, I"m not buying them.

Finally signed but instead of giving me my # they took me straight to the donation page; I wish I could donate. As far as Current Technology I'll never buy anything from them. TY for the fwd Charles and TY for posting Nancy.

No, this is NOT an infringement, for the same reason that the trademark was granted in the first place - they are not in the same industry. If you scroll down far enough you will see that USPTO searches are industry specific - because, for instance, no one thinks Yale Lock is infringing Yale University or vice versa. Current Technologies is in the medical industry. If they want to pick on someone their own size, they might sue the Current company that makes checks and greeting cards; it would make just as much sense.

Action completed earlier without problems....so a young female(s) is a threat to big business/corp? More power to her......and for big corp/big business.....you are such a insecure bunch who totally lack integrity....Thanks Nancy for posting.

Noted, tweeted, shared; watched video, tweeted and shared it, but it wouldn't allow me to sign; I will try again.
Something wrong when we don't applaud our youngest and brightest. These two kids can make a big difference in the world, and some greedy company that really isn't even in the same business tries to stop it. If I were a hospital, clinic, or medical office, I wouldn't use or buy any of their products because obviously they don't care about the future of our country.
