He railed against U.S. political and business figures, particularly the Koch brothers, for attempting to thwart the expansion of wind and solar power, which is widely popular among the American public.

I hope he realizes he also was railing on Buffet, whose company is fighting against renewable energy in NV

Without the Prez actually changing the laws to stop the neg. efforts of lobbyists, it's just words, yet.

Yes, great words; and I'm glad he spoke them. So, why approve the drilling in the Arctic? Can't have it both ways....

I hope his proposal for making loans available for rooftop solar panels goes through. We would love to have it, but have no room for those huge solar panels, and cannot presently afford it anyway.

Shell in the Arctic? But solar at home?

He's a very confusing President. Half the time I want to hug him, half the time I want to smack him.

LEAVE ALL FOSSIL FUELS IN THE GROUND.
82% of Fossil Fuel Reserves must be LEFT IN THE GROUND - 82%! -
if we are to avert Climate CATASTROPHE due to Global Warming.

NO MORE drilling, coal mining, fracking,
and transporting, leaking and spilling and exploding,
and BURNING and spewing into the Atmosphere.
NO MORE exploration for new sources!
This should be Environmentalists' MANTRA:
LEAVE FOSSIL FUELS IN THE GROUND.
==========
Leave the Oil in the Soil
the Coal in the Hole
the Tar Sands in the Land.

Eliminate ALL use and extraction of Dirty Fossil Fuels for Energy, NOW! ASAP

I don't know that "the Prez." can change the laws on his own, but he is making a good case for creating that change!
This is the kind of stuff I had hoped to see in abundance from him.
