Hasn't Shalanda Augillard been through enough? She's fortunate to have lived through this ordeal! Hope is also very fortunate that her life was spared and she was brought to a shelter. When adopted, was the Austin woman told it was a pet from Katrina? If so she should have known that if the original owner of Hope was found, the dog would again be hers, She was taking care of Hope for the interum. People and dogs aren't easy to take apart as the love is binding. I can understand why the Austin woman feels as she does yet the dog should be with the original owner if it is the original owner.
