People on SNAP and families on WIC need greater access to the higher levels of nutrition available in fruits, vegetables and certified organic products. To this end, we request the House and Senate immediately modify the founding documents for WIC and SNA

This is a good idea to help promote and provide healthier foods for families and cut down on obesity and junk foods.

What a wonderful idea. I've always said that the poor, children, and seniors who use SNAP may have acces to fresh fruit and vegetables, but they can't always afford them. The canned is so much cheaper...and less nutricious.

This would be good. i work in a supermarket & many people on SNAP, not so much WIC, buy cheap food with barely any nutritional value..This would encourage them 2 buy more healthy food & would help stretch their SNAP benefits. Thanks Alan.

This would mean no more, "I can't afford fruits & veggies" : / Win-Win
