Do meat eaters love God? Jesus said NO, he will not know them doesn't matter how much they are praying. A very strong video that also shows how the bible has been manipulated by those who want to eat meat.

I beg to differ....

I am sure somewhere in the bible it says...."go and kill the fattest calf"

He must have been referring to, nothing without a split hoof!

Although there is plenty of meat eating in the bible (as is slavery, genocide, infidelity, bigamy...) it is known that many early Christians and Jews were vegetarian based on biblical teachings. Many Christian leaders throughout history have believed the same. Even St James the Just, the brother (some believe a step brother or cousin) of Jesus, taught that vegetarianism was in keeping with Jesus' teachings.

If you take the bible literally it begins in the Garden with vegans and later with prophets saying we must return to times of non-violence towards all animals. Dr. Albert Schweitzer summed up these teachings when he said, "Until he extends the circle of compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace."

I find the Bible contradicting. I respect people and their religion, if it makes them a better person. I want to believe in a God that does not want us to kill. To kill is to take a life ......what gives me the right to decide which animal must live and which must die... we all have blood on our hands.......

Just do things with love and compassion and you do not need a bible or religion. But the bible is definintely a very interesting book.

Ralph, I agree. It is our actions that dictates what kind of characters we are and we can decide what we want to be and what we want to do. Thanks for all these interesting articles.

that was one radical video...I agree 100% with the ideas presented..i just think they could be presented in a way that is less abusive and wouldnt get those who are doing wrong to get thier hackles up..this video will turn any christian totally against the ideas simply becsause of how it is presented..

Thanks Ralph, I enjoyed reading it, I had no sound! I believe that we should not eat the flesh of another living being. There is no reason to, since there is so much variety of different foods available! Horses, cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, goat do not eat meat, so why do humans want to eat them?? For humans to consume meat another living being life is ended in a very cruel way! Do they not have a right to life? And why do some live while others are killed. Sure does not seem very logic to me.... Are we not all worthy of life?

Romans 14:1-9 1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, butÜ nota to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another manís servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuadedb in his own mind. 6 He that regardethc the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lordís. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

There is a lot of misleading nonsense in the bible. Anything for anyone's desire to comfirm right. If someone needs the bible to differ right from wrong hr/she has a cold heart without love. These people need rules and regulations because they are lost in their desires that cover compassion and ethics. But mainly it is a question of personal spiritual state of process that enables a person to feel compassion and love for life.

So don't search to cover your bad habbits by searchig words in the bible that seem to give you the right to act against the creation. It just does not make sense.
