This is one of the saddest power struggles I have ever heard of. Now I am going to call that DA PHONE NUMBER FIRST THING. TOMORROW.

I am very saddened to hear this, now.

Please rest and be at peace Herman. I am sorry this is happening and it is shameful.

I just heard of this from a Google alert. (I didn't want to post it as news; everyone was so briefly optimistic.)

These are the most HATEFUL people!

"We have not received any official notification of an indictment, but if it is true, we are shocked that a state grand jury was asked to indict a man who has only days to live," Wallace's legal team said in a statement.

Per the article:

You see my fellow Americans, we have a lot of work to do. We live in a very broken Country. As Activist John Trudell said, "we live in the land were Spirits are eaten."

This is a system that is not working for anyone except the chosen few at the top of the pile, for the rest of us, it's this mess. Our Elders are not treated correctly, our children are denied the opportunities to thrive, the way we treat our disabled, even the disabled that were sent to fight their wars of special interests are not treated in a good way. The hypocrisy from the so called Leadership, the Oligarchy that the Leadership jumps hoops for knows no bounds.

We either keep supporting this insanity or we begin to resist and it will take all of us. Herman Wallace stood for something. Now look around and stand for something too. There are other Herman Wallace's, we still have a native brother Leonard Peltier who also stood for something behind bars for 37 years. We have children as young as 12 years old being sent to prison for life without parole! Children also being sent to solitary, a system that assure so many of our children will be in these For Profit Prisons.

Yes indeed, this is where Spirits are eaten, but as John Trudell finished his statement, "Protect your Spirit, it is all you Truly have." It seems that Herman Wallace protected his Spirit protect your Spirit and Stand for Something. There are many rallies coming up, there are local level positions that people can fill, there are petitions, there is getting the word out there what is going on. Too many people are not even aware of what is going on. They feel it in their bones something isn't right, we understand that, the Human Being isn't a robot we are BEINGS........BEING that MEANS something. But Corporate has us as solely consumers, warriors, or if we don't fit there prisoners to make money off of and to get their sadistic kicks from.

So Stand for something, our Earth Mother is crying from the toxins thrown into her body, look at our children, a continual rise in autism. But even they get little empathy, program cutbacks, and many of the mentally ill or the ones who can't conform to some rigged box, are funneled into the prison system. Like cattle to slaughter, up the ramps they go.

All my life I felt part of my life was to be an Activist the best way I could, that was just something one did as a part of life. You saw an injustice or a bad situation you did what you can to make it better the best your could. If you couldn't do it alone you let others know of it and tried as a group to improve the situation. But you took a bit of your life, over the years, and took a Stand for Something. So Warrior Brother Herman Wallace, you took a Stand, I salute you. I raise my feather to you.......May you have a Gentle Journey to the Star Nation.

Thank you for adding your voice to the call to end prolonged solitary confinement.

I do believe it is completely appropriate to call this a state execution.

This is not justice, not humane and most certainly does not serve the needs of the greater community nor public safety. Prison is not about revenge, okay it is for some, but in the sense of serving justice, prison is not about revenge. I never met this man, but like a few others I have tried to support in an action for justice, I have learned many things about their lives. For that reason, for the reason of wanting an honesty and just system, I am deeply disappointed.

Fare thee well Herman, your life was so filled with torment, I wish you rest.

No one can harass him now, he is far beyond the long arm of unlawful law. May karma rain down on those whom tried to ruin his last days with their shallow and petty will to have the last word. May their fingers receive many paper cuts from this day forward. RIP Herman.
