Millions of smartphone users and BT customers who use Wi-Fi wireless internet "hotspot" connections in public are vulnerable to fraud and identity theft, a Guardian investigation has established.

This is why I NEVER shop on my wireless computer. I can wait until I get home to my "wireful" computer and its much more secure connection.

Computer security is always an arms race between those endeavoring to protect your transactions and crackers who want to steal your secrets.
