Some people imagine that "Venezuela is a dictatorship that people are fleeing". The reality is very different: a democracy, where the people have elected socialist governments in recent years, ensuring less poverty, more human rights, & more people coming

Colombian families are now collectively mobilizing to Venezuela in search of the realization of a quality of life that is impossible for them to find in their home country, given the economic conditions in which they are forced to live as a result of the armed conflict. [1]

Can you blame them? There are times when I wouldn't
mind living in Caracas myself! :-)

I think more people should open up their eyes to the kind of government we have here in the US before they start condemning socialist governments.
