A botched computer analysis resulted in design flaws that are largely to blame for unprecedented wear in steam tubes at the San Onofre nuclear power plant, but it isn't clear how the problems can be fixed, federal regulators said.

Take a look at what’s happening in Japan, the whole island will probably be evacuated in time when they finally admit all the damage and toxins released and still being released, the coast is seeing these effects with high levels of radiation in the water and plant and animal and fish life. Only a small amount of energy is produced from Nuclear and what a high price to pay when we can use what nature intended such as solar and wind and water depending on where you live. It is sag when the green bucks rule the world at such a drastic expense of our health and wellbeing when the true "green" through natural ways can be such a positive effect all around.

It's the fact that Sony (Mitsubishi) sucks. The plant should get Baldwin Lima Hamilton, Babcox&Wilcox, AOSmith, Foster-Wheeler, or one of the other BOILER MANUFACTURERS to build boilers for them instead of accepting junk from the company who built the airplanes they bombed Pearl harbour with and should have stayed in propellor-driven aircraft and junk-grade electronics.

Shut the nuclear plant down at once.

Encase the entire plat in cement.

No more nuclear power plants as they have been proven dangerous to all life!
