From the article: "Chase Strangio, Manning’s attorney at the ACLU, said after the verdict that Manning was 'so thankful for the thousands of people from around the world who let the government know that we are watching and scrutinizing what happens to her behind prison walls'."

Give yourself a pat on the back if you signed the petition that was placed on the news in C2. It worked. So when you think that these petitions are doing nothing.....think again.

Thanks everyone, and thanks for all who signed the petitions. As Dandelion says, it can make a difference! I agree with Beryl, these are "crimes"? And as Natasha points out, solitary confinement should absolutely be abolished.

Given that prison staff delivered the magazines to her and sold her that toothpaste recently, it smells of a set-up so I'm glad an appeal is in the works. Thanks for the update Judy

I have the feeling that this will not be the last time that we will need to take action. I am glad that this one worked.

Tooth paste is a medicine???? Does it cure cancer? Can you put it on broken bones and it will heal them? Will it cure acne? Toe fungus? Male pattern baldness? Grow insanely long eyelashes? Can it get you high?
wow!!! sounds like a miracle drug! And who would have thought it was "discovered" in prison right under the guards nose!
Maybe they could get Chelsea for "practicing medicine without a license?"

This really is a good one for the National Inquirer or Fox News!
