While Obama has publicly criticized the so-called "revolving door" between government and business, the headliners attending Friday's meeting are some of the best-known government officials who now help corporations influence government.

Corporations are not required to have a conscience---they exist ONLY to make money but our Govt was established to protect us. We need a regulated wall street to invest in and regulated companies to work for. Sounds easy enough but the road traveled has been rough.

Thanks Judy--this one adds emphasis to the differences Bernie and O'Malley presented during last night's debate.

Noted. Thanks for posting, Judy.
So, we have "Bigwigs" in charge of writing the TPP; then more "Bigwig" lobbyists to beg members of Congress to pass it. This is supposed to be a representative Congress----representing the people. Obama told those of us who voted for him that we would have to "hold his feet to the fire" to get the things he promised done. Well, the fire keeps getting bigger and moving away; while Obama dances around it. I am beyond disgust. We will all have to continue to send messages/call on our Congress members to vote "NO" on TPP when it comes up for a vote.

I believe this trade deal may be good for Obama and billionaires but I believe it is not good for American citizens.
