The hearing, Warren said, was called by Republicans "to talk about why we should roll back the rules on mortgages and credit cards because they're just too costly for the banks,"

Thanks for sharing, Judy. Go get 'em, Senator Warren! Take no prisoners, give no quarter to these slimy, greedy crooks.

Noted. Thanks for posting, Judy.

OMG, Sen. Warren made me laugh at that remark! And, is she 100% correct! She really nailed him. Funny thing, I don't know how he could pull off his answer with a straight face. The fact that she "sticks out like a sore thumb" in the Senate tells us just how thoroughly corrupted the entire system is.

We were all ready for "change" and "hope" about 8 years ago. Well, we did get quite a switch from the previous (Bush) admin. with our current Pres. But, when he put the Banksters (foxes) in charge of the henhouse, the whole financial mess just never got fixed. Bernie aims to change that.

If only the Financial Reform Bill that was passed by a Dem. congress had included re-instating Glass-Steagall. But, too many in Congress were taking too many LARGE campaign donations from that industry.
And still are.

Thanks Judy for this treat!! Great comments all around and very much to my heart's content ;-).

Imagine a team like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren in the White House - incredible what they could achieve not only for the US domestically but also for the whole world!! I hope and pray that it's not just a day-dream of mine and I will see it happen!

Elizabeth Warren would be a women I'd vote any time for to be the next President of the US - which reminds me of the possible democratic candidate and my stomach starts acting up ...

Bernie and Elizabeth would make a great team in the White House but I don't think that she wants to be in the White House. We do need her in the Senate where she is a breath of sanity among all of the obstructionism of the rethuglicant party. I like that we have a champion for the poor/working/middle classes, women, disabled, etc in the Senate.

Ms Warren is articulate, intelligent, and doesn't let him get away with anything. Thanks for the post.
