Bogus Defenses of Tax-Dodging Corporate Inversions

Top CEO's reiterate the claim that the U.S. tax system "traps" U.S. corporate profits overseas and thereby block domestic investment of these funds. Companies really keep the earnings offshore because they don't want to pay the U.S. income taxes they owe.

Oh, what a tangled web the Corporate Capitalist players weave, when they practice to deceive and obfuscate.

Noted. Thanks, Judy.

Several months ago I read that Pres. Obama has the power to do something about these inversions, but hasn't done it. Still. The entire system is corrupt. Congress votes for these loopholes and tax breaks because they are beholden to Big Donors. It is going to be difficult, if not impossible to change this system until we have publicly financed elections and get Big Money OUT of politics.
