The industry push to make online bidding the norm -- as opposed to standard in-person, oral bidding -- began with a fervorous pitch in 2009, after the "Bidder 70" civil disobedience action of activist Tim DeChristopher in Utah.

Shared over social media to spread awareness.

I wonder how many more actions Obama is going to execute before he leaves office. . . preserving legacies should be augmented by REAL change. Guantanamo Bay, Leonard Peltier, Gun crime issues, Clime-Change.

In terms of online bidding, why not have online bidding as part of a TELECONFERENCE. . .? That way, it's less anonymous.

Yes, they'll keep circling the wagons to cram every last drop of oil down our throats. Without elected leaders that are truly working for our benefit this will continue on with little progress to where we should be. The move to a truly GREEN economy and energy source(s) should be a National PRIORITY. But when the people keep on voting in the Corporate Candidates they only hurt themselves in the long run.

I understand some people know not that we have a Green Party - Corporate Media keeps a lid on it, but for anyone that knows and continues to vote for Corporate Candidates you sell your children's lives out cheaply. We have no time for this lesser than two evils and kick the can down the road, even the Scientist are amazed at how quickly Climate Disruption took hold - it isn't something to avoid - it is here - we can only hope to keep it from reaching a worse case scenario by quickly going Green. So vote Green.
