Good news--the Keystone XL pipeline might be unnecessary. Some opponents of the controversial tar sands pipeline have suggested this, but more and more people inside the oil industry are saying time has passed by the project, for many reasons.

This is the pure insidious nature of a system that runs ONLY for profit, just for the shareholders, and gives no consideration to the people. This system of unregulated raw capitalism is destroying us all by destroying our planet bit by bit.

There is no reason to destroy the last major drinking sources for people, animals and to water crops, but for this......keeping the "for profit" system going. There are many alternatives for energy sources now, we have the technology and the ability, we do not need to keep pushing out the dirtiest fuel from the ground.

The article points out that the oil companies themselves are recognizing and admitting that they just don't need another pipeline, especially one carrying this kind of heavy, dirty, difficult to process oil.

And funding is not resurfacing because the costs outweigh the expected money to be made, too. Thanks Judy--I'm glad almost everyone is accepting these facts (so sad Trump doesn't).
