The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is considering a plan that, if passed, would permit the gunning down of feral hogs from helicopters to reduce the population within the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge.

Noted. I believe aerial hunting is one of the most cowardly ways of hunting together with canned hunting.

How horrible... and to think that these "men/women" come home to their loved ones with blood on their hands and act as if it was just another day at work. I would find it very hard to be civil to someone who can do something like that. Noted. Thank you Yrna!

Yes, duly noted and will contact Texas F & W. It's bad enuff killing wolves rom the air or "canned" hunts like Cheney and his ilk used to participate in..yah, shoot 'em as they run out of a truck...and wild animals at that! Killing wildlife in a refuge...sounds like reptilian brains at work to me!

Whoa, stop the bus - 'reptilian brains'? That's an insult to the planet's reptiles!!! These folks ain't got no brains. To my mind they're only 'feral hogs' as humans want to 'grab' more of their land?? You've got enough already, leave the hogs alone - and if you venture into 'their' remaining area, let it be at your own cost, not theirs!

Hunting perhaps is for for these people, but not to the hunted.
