These incredible photographs show a tiny gorilla, just five days old, sleeping in the arms of its mother at Zurich zoo. The photographs show the proud mother, N'Yokumi looking after her newborn baby that vets have not yet been able to get close to.

How precious! Just be patient and the time will come to find out whether it's a little boy or little girl... right now mama and baby are doing a super job of bonding...

Beautiful picture, and the Mother is smart, she knows it's not a smart move to let humans get too, close to her baby,

Michael is right... a smart Mother keeps her baby safe. We will know soon enough. The importand is that this child has a chance to truly bond with its mom.

Yeah, looks like curiosity is killing the cat in this case - but so WHAT if you don't know the sex, I tend to agree with her - it's none of your flippin business! Right now it's her business to keep her child safe and healthy so just wait and have some patience, she will eventually allow baby to forage 'further afield'.
