Astronomer Parke Kunkle caused quite a stir recently among believers in astrology when he pointed out that a wobble in Earth's rotation meant that the stars were in a different position above us two millennia ago, when the Zodiac was created.

A bombastic title for a piece stating the obvious: any discipline can be misapplied. More astrology-bashing by scientists, who have made some judgments of their own. Those of us who use astrology are quite used to it.

What does a religious issue like astrology have to do with science or technology ?

If you believe that we all choose when and where we will be born and to whom, and that we also have the ability through understanding (Astrology) to change those traits that are negative and enhance the positive traits, then it makes sense. To this end there is No similarity what so ever to racism. Astrology is about self responsibility and empowerment.
