Here is another study that says it may only mask symptoms. This big business surgery is very risky, people should think twice. The greed of the bariatric industry gets in the way of its good judgment.

Bariatric surgery should only be a last resort as any type of surgery carries risks.

Better to make lifestyle changes and lose weight that way.
