Ah, but it is so much easier to blame the workers and unions. Blame Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for the openly criminal behavior of the major banks/mortgage companies, corporations and Wall Street for the massive theft. Sure place the blame any where but where it belongs. In this country there are always suckers who believe exactly what they are told and most can be found drooling in front of their TV tuned to Fox.

You're right, as usual, Kit. Noted and thanks for the article, Dandelion. It makes me glad I'm not inthe position to buy... there's just too damned many greedy, thieving people out there that want to steal everythiing from you that they can get.

The 60 Minutes clip is "enough said" to totally WIPE OUT any trust with a BANK of any name.
Added to this is this YOUTUBE clip> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxVYxReZQUA
Added to this is all the corruption, payoffs, lobbyist treats, earmarks (bridges to nowhere, etc), Wall Street Ripoffs and manipulations, the 911 lies, the missing $2.3 Trillion (Rumsfeld), The Pharma overcharging, illegal mandates, the rape of our Bill of Rights, the ILLEGAL Federal Reserve, Weapons of Mass Destruction, the ILLEGAL WARS, all our soldiers that are DEAD, CHEM TRAILS, Surveillance Cameras everywhere, and the list goes on. Buy or borrow Jesse Ventura's new book on 63 things the gov't doesn't want you to know !!
Oh...BTW....don't expect any new with "transparancy" since most of our gov't NOW makes everything a SECRET DOCUMENT, which makes that much more difficult to make available to US....the folks that paid for this FASCISM. Now, who are you going to vote for?

Are you running Roger? Also my good friend Linda on here, we voted to have her give it a go. At least you and her are not bought off.

I'm afraid the people are waking up real late in the game. It will be a true struggle to rip it away from the crooks.

Basically Sioux, as Arild said, they are all Criminals. The American people sign a legal document and the Banks just went ahead and did whatever they wanted to do, screwed the economy, scewed others who bought these bundled scams, scewed the ones who were sitting in the homes.

Then when the shite hit the fan, the banks forged lots of documents, millions I would say, gave our Courts the forged documents, ran off with the money, tossed people out on the streets, and gave large bonuses to the Theives all the while laughing at us and the Government for allowing it to be so easy for them.

I LOVE YOU MARY BOTARRI AND BANKSTER BUSTERS. But now what do we do about this Racketeering Wall St. and White House robbing us blind and of our so called democracy? GOT CHANGE BOYCOTT!
I opened an account with a local credit union and I love their slogan, "Power of We".

That 60 Minutes clip was a real eye-opener! What if that female lawyer (Szymoniak?) hadn't discovered the phony signatures on her mortgage paperwork and didn't have the knowledge and means to garner all the information she obtained? As far as I'm concerned, the already-corrupt banks involved are complicit in this additional bit of fraud involving the forged documents. By handing off the responsibility to find the missing documents to another entity, they had to know that any means possible would be used to "produce" them, and this was their way of protecting themselves from direct involvement. That they didn't question or inspect these documents once they were "miraculously" found raises another red flag. They are GUILTY, and they need to rectify this situation. There are people who have lost their homes and people who are fighting to keep them. The banks involved, in a frenzy of greed, took shortcuts while completing the mortgage process, and they need to pay for their mistakes. Maybe they were too focused on trying to convince people to go forward with mortgages couldn't afford.

When I think of the misery these greedy bankers have caused, I can't understand how they can live with themselves. They caused a near-depression and were rewarded with a taxpayer bailout. Then they rewarded themselves with huge raises and bonuses. And now we're in for further economic repercussions once the litigation starts and the banks are forced to make this right.

And the budget that was just passed was made possible by cuts to programs for women, while the banking industry continues to be protected by their GOP backers. Many families are being raked over the coals, but the females in the families are being raked twice. This makes me sick!

Noted! Thank you for this interesting post Dandelion! It is really devastating to see what is happening in the US ... it just doesn't seem to stop...the endless greed and selfishness of some people is destroying the lives of so many others, it's almost unbelievable how many people seem to have no values anymore nowadays :(

You are so correct Susanne R. and that woman was lucky as she had the educational background in fraud and as a Lawyer. For the hundreds of thousands who do not have this type of background they wouldn't even know where to look, and that is exactly what those Thieving Scoundrals in the Banks were in hopes of.
Yes, you are also correct, instead of our Government protecting us, it has protected the Banksters and even rewarded them with money for having screwed millions of Americans and sent our Country into a nose dive economically that has had vibrations that was and is being felt around the world. No Rita the greed and the selfishness seems to have no end in sight.

Thanks Dandelion.

I shall be interested in what happens next. When is the penalty for profiteeri, big time fraud, and incompetence ng going to be the same as for manslaughter? They do just as much damage. e.g. I suspect there have been a few suicides along this route.

Prime example of why the Republicans want the Financial Reform Bill repealed and why they want budgets cut for regulating agencies.

Sheryl G (359)
Sunday April 10, 2011, 6:21 pm
And you think that would be a good thing Hope????

It is because of not enough regulation that this mess did happen, as the Theives can't control themselves. Like little children in the cookie jar, they will take all the cookies, most of them, and so did the Banksters.

Thanks for your support but it takes one to know one so we are all in it together, right?
Where do we go from here is always the result of "lessons learned", I would hope. OK.....I'd say that the very best and I mean BEST we can do is SPREAD THE WORD.....copy and paste the links here and send them to everyone you know and ASK them to send them out also.....we must get everyone out of the response of "that's sad" or something else that has no direction. Send this information to your friends and your bankers too.....(smiling) We must drive them out of business, so move your money into something solid....maybe a credit union but I put mine into Silver. OK......let's put it out there.

Thank you Dandelion...

The bloody thieves!! How dare they do this to people. There is one thing that is bugging me, the people that had the job of signing someone else's name; how come they didn't know that it is illegal to sign someone else's name? How come they didn't suspect anything? Sorry, I am no legal person, but one thing I am confused about is, if someone asked me to sign anything in someone else's name, I would have told them where to go and reported their ass. And you know what, I have done that very same thing! Sadly some good people lost their jobs and the company got done for fraud! But these companies/organisations can't go around defrauding money. If it was us/me or you, they would send us down forever!!

Personally, I think all people should read up on their rights. If you don't know your rights then you can be taken advantage of by unscrupulous organisations/companies/people.

Know your rights people. And double check all documents, don't trust and just sign documents always read, reread, get someone else to read and if possible get a lawyer to check it too.

You cannot currently send a star to Roger because you have done so within the last week.
You cannot currently send a star to wooddragon because you have done so within the last week.

I agree, I think that people deep down know that signing someone else's name isn't right but they don't want to go to jail. Fact is, they got paid low and they would be the one's to be the fall guy and the Banks would get away with it, saying, well they knew it was wrong, we were not sitting there in that room we didn't know it was happening. That has been the problem, no one wants to stand up for the right thing, from the one who did sign, the one who ran the operation of getting those fake documents signed, and did the Banks question why all of a sudden all of these documents were now suddenly found so quickly? So they knew something wasn't right, but they didn't care either......but the fall guy will be the one who signed. The one who couldn't find a job after the economy tanked was happy to get a job at all......but again, one still needs to say, not me.

I recall a low point in my earnings, after Ronald Reagan got his job I lost mine. I knew it was going to happen, as he hated the program I worked for. The economy was tanking and I was trying to find work, my benefits near out for unemployment. Someone told me that I most likely could get a job at the Nuclear Plant as there were postings for various positions. I had for years protested against having that Nuclear Plant put there and the wages that were being paid were higher than I'd ever had received.

I might of lost my apartment if I could not get a job soon, but I told the person, I'd clean toilets first before I'd work there and that I'd keep looking and find something. It was a time I had to either give up my principles or stand up for my principles and so I stood up. I did find a job working for a radio station not long after that, money wasn't so hot, but it kept the roof over my head and I still looked for another job of better pay.

I commend you Wooddragon for standing up for your principles too and more need to do that. I am Honored to be connected to you in friendship, the quality of individual I want in my life.

These Banksters have screwed the public over and over and in every which direction and they do not care and are still sucking the public dry. We seem to have few in Washington that really stand up to this crime so it is happening still and will continue until a lot of them in Washington say enough and start holding these theives accountable big time.

You are most right on Roger, I and others can bring the information to the table or Care2, but if others don't do something with it after they read it then little is accomplished. Everyone needs to start taking some personal responsibility to forward this information and other news onward to others. They need to stop supporting the biggest crooks and move their money elsewhere, if they have any left, and they need to support their Mom and Pop stores, find as much American made products when they shop, and support their local farmers with the fresh foods with no GMO. Little things like carrying ones own sack instead of getting plastic bags, change needs to come from many directions, each person must and should get involved. Everyone needs to pull some weight otherwise this will never improve.

Banks are not there to help you, but to help themselves & screw you in the process! They charge the hell out of the little guy & give breaks to the well to do! It does not change, always penalized the good guy for what the bad guy is doing! We see this across society as a whole. Thanks for posting Dandelion.

Thank you Dandelion, (Blush, blush!) it is really kind of you to say that about me. I too feel the same about you, and it is also important to stand up for your principles. Don't be corrupted by unscrupulous people/organisations/companies, they won't bail you out!! And just to add to my story, I also lost my job too... yes, I whistle blew myself out of a job!! But in the grand scheme of things, the choice was whistle blow or prison!! Not a difficult choice really!!

You are so right Penelope, revolving doors. Same holds true with a lot of Corporate interest. We have the EPA compromised, the Halliburton Loophole, and many other situations going on, whereby people like Dick Cheney became Vice President and was able to get the Halliburton Loophole into place.

They have ties either financial or personal to certain Special Interests, then because they have Big Money behind them, are so called "elected" into office....what a joke, more like placed into office, and they they set things up to make sure it goes exactly how they want for themselves and their other Elite buddies.
