So many innocents being harmed these days it's difficult to not lose focus sometimes. Fortunately there are people like Sheryl to keep my eye on the ball.

I signed these two girl. Looking forward to the day when the Care2 front page "Success" story is that these children have been returned safely to their families.

Thanks Dandelion,Towards the end of the article it stated that the Nigerian Defense Ministry knows where the girls are, but is afraid to rescue them for fear it would cause their deaths. Maybe this is a case where the U.S. govt could put it's drones to some good use? Petitions signed.

To me it sounds as if Boko Haram is doing ethnic cleansing of Christians. I wonder why John McCain is not advocating the use of military force in Nigeria. Could it be because the Nigerian government plays nicely with the fossil fuel industry?

I very much agree, those who steal others children, destroy others lives, no matter how much they feel it is a just or noble cause for themselves, are wrong.....

"A presidential committee investigating the kidnappings said 219 girls still are missing. But the community says there are more because some parents refused to give the committee their daughters' names, fearing the stigma involved." That's the first I've read this, so there could be even more girls. What stigma are they concerned about-they were kidnapped!

In some of the more extreme forms, if the girls had been raped, the families reputation is ruined. I know, at a time like this, but things like that are so embedded within a culture.

This is unacceptable! We, The United States, have the power and the intelligent to bring those girls home. Enough is Enough! Why are we standing by and watching people die? I don't understand it. If they were from my Country, US, we would have had them back a long time ago. Why, why, why.

May God Bless The Children & The Parents.

Thank You, Dandelion.

. Nigerian gov is not interested. First they ask for help and now they do not accept help? It is sad that this is happening but if they accept Chinese exploiting them but not accepting them as equals, not strange they are tolerating this also. People in power in those countries just want to be in power and they couldn't care less if it is under X religion or another. Now,news said that girls were seen in Cameroon and Chad, what then is Cameroon and Chad doing? Nobody is doing nothing there!
Let me say that people in Nigeria is selling dog and cat meat and not precisely because they are hungry. This town might be hungry but not all Nigeria and if they sell cat and dog meat is because somebody is buying it. It's a business! Well, if they have a business, this kind of business and are embracing those atrocities they do not need my donations! Except for those girls and their families, I am not interested in Nigeria! In Nigeria and other African countries... Give me a magic wand to rescue animals and needy people and let the rest eat one another! ( If Chinese do not eat them first!)
UNICEF? Another school was atacked today in Gaza and more children and women died! What could we expect?
