Cable industry lobbyists have their full army of lobbyists who are "slinging tight one-pagers" and "repeating carefully crafted and plausible-sounding talking points" in order to prevent real net neutrality rules. Don't let them win.

Just to let everyone know. I tend to put into the search engine key words to stories I post so I can find an image for the story. I do use cable for internet and when I tried to find "cable lobbyist" I got no images, the word image didn't even come up. Then I placed in "cable lobbyist net neutrality" again no images or even the word image to click on came up. However, when I placed in the search window, "lobbyist" I did get images and the word image to click onto. Now don't tell me things are not filtered.....kind of proved it. Wait if this net neutrality goes in, we'll in fact have less to select from. So Please sign.....

Thanks! Your form has been submitted. At least to my Congressman and one senator (the other is still requiring a suffix after your name and I can't get a PhD, MD, etc over night). Thanks.

Signed (again - not this petition but others) The FCC has the authority to reclassify the internet as a public utility without going through Congress, and that is what should be done. Dandelion, my experience is that if you are not getting results when you search you are probably putting in too much. Search engines are easily confused by TMI. Liv B, really? A suffix? that usually means Jr or Sr or II or III, something like that. Try putting in capital I for "the first" and see if it takes it. Good luck.

400 Bad request

Your browser sent an invalid request.

I've been getting that a lot lately, but usually only for articles by Daily Kos. Is this a Daily Kos petition? 'Cause I think my internet provider has something against Daily Kos. Or maybe I just need to upgrade my browser.

Thanks Joanne, but I didn't use many words, AND not that it didn't give me the correct images it wouldn't give me the word image to click onto. Cable lobbyist is two words, not much for a search engine, and it just would "allow" it....period.

Dianna try again, I get that once in awhile, then try later and it works. It also might be you need to upgrade. Most likely the latter, but then, as I couldn't get images for "cable lobbyists" nor even the spot to click onto the word it may be the other. But I'd try upgrading first.

Bonnie Lynn, C2 has been dragging off and on all morning.....so I think it was just a coincidence.

Noted, signed to three local representatives/senator. I'd like to think that there are men and women in Congress who started their career believing that they could really represent the people and make a difference. I'd like to think that they though pandering to lobbyists was a horrible thing to do. That's the 'part' of them that I try to appeal to.
