Its hard enough for struggling families, to claw their way out from under the economic crash without having lying, cheating, predator corporations twist the court system to pick their pockets and shut off their hope of recovery.

Sure sounds like the robo-foreclosure scandals that surfaced a few years ago--same managers and employees?

These people and companies are beneath cockroaches. Like far too many profit-uber-alles corporations, they prey on the weakest and most vulnerable. They are like buzzards in business suits.

Encore Capital are unethical bottom-feeders. This company should be charged with contempt of court. Thanks Dandelion.

I advise anyone suffering financial hardship with credit cards, loans, etc. to get on a debt management plan, preferably with a charity, where you don't have to pay extra money, IF you're able.

In England, we have Step Change. EVERY company involved in debt management, loans, bankruptcy, etc. has heard of Step Change and they DO *recommend* them.

It sure does sound just like the robo-foreclosures and the courts once more buy into it.....failing to protect people on an individual bases. But with taxes being decreased there isn't enough funds to hire more court employees, in all the additional scams that have been played out upon the people the work increases as the taxes decrease. A perfect storm.

Noted. Thanks, Dandelion. You are right about the "perfect storm." This is awful! As I've noted before, we don't have a "trickle down" economy, what we have is an upward flow of money. I am so disgusted!

This sort of thing has been going on for quite a long time - back to the nineties to my certain knowledge and probably longer. At one time I knew so many people affected that I had a resource for information on what you do and don't have to put up with. If I find that link I will post it (if it has been updated. I know some things are harder now, for instance personal bankruptcy).
