Signed, and phoned Mary Jo White's office and the White House. Also tweeted. I'm totally sick of the conduct of the regulators who let the banks act like criminals and get by with anything. It's time Obama appoints some people to the SEC who will actually do their job. Thanks Dandelion.

I hope so...perhaps if they don't start to listen they know people are not going away. Might they be getting a little worried?

Yes - petitions don't often totally swing the vote yet ... but they do disrupt progress on unacceptable actions as well (like causing postponement of votes - EU, & Congress, on trade treaties & fast track, for example) - and we are seeing more and more cases where they do carry some influence on discussions & decision making

And isn't it time it was officially recognised that the Banks are irresponsible managers of money (unless, or course, one is a bank share holder/ board member ....) .... our money bails them out - and their top people get bonuses ????

I have seen many examples where petitions and phone calls have certainly worked and is why I continue to sign.
