I thought the same AniMae....when he was saying that about the girls. Wow, I'm thinking. But those people who are in that place of love, know this in their hearts. It seems all he did every day was out of love for his family, for his village, was for everyone to have a better life.

I watched his story. Right---he is not dead. His energy force is strong and others will gain his strengths and essence and carry on, with him as their guiding star. In honor of his wife, he accomplished a good deed for his town. We all have this will and energy. Modern life causes us to lose touch with that inner awareness we're born with. Many on Care2 have this and allow their spirit and soul to "feel" the communications between each other. We inspire, protect, cherish each other, as if each soul was a rare jewel, and some an unclaimed treasure. Dandelion thank you for yet another moving presentation. Like Dashrath, you are certainly a rare bijou, a gem.

Thank you for sharing such an inspiring story with us. I am speechless, knowing what one man accomplished in 22 years, because he loved his society and family so much, while listening to his Heart. He persevered with Love, what no one else would probably ever even begin. He cared not if people though he was madd, he followed his passion and made a difference so enormous, that he has inspired this woman sitting in CA. at her computer today. It is heartwarming knowing his legacy is alive in his community and all of India I assume, and thriving as each child is now given education to empower themselves. Yes, even the girls which has a knot in my throat. I agree with Janice that you are truly a rare gem Dandelion. No matter what struggles you encounter on a daily basis you make it your priority to help change the world for the better, which begins with sharing your news-letter with us. Your offerings are endless and for that reason you are adorned and respected by endless people. Your personal friendship for many years now is cherished, as you are the real deal!!! Thank you again for sharing such the strength and Heart of one man and how everything is possible, especially if it is RIGHT.

Thanks, Dandelion

The determination of Dashrath Manjhi broke through the physical mountain - but this alone was not enough to open the way. It took his friend's tackling the NEXT mountain, the mountain in people's mindsets - creating a trade school - to enable Manjhi's dream to start to have a real impact.

Dreamers, even those prepared to wear themselves out with hammer & chisel building their dream, need the support of a visionary who can take their dream onwards. Teamwork is the real power - and will probably take Manjhi's dream even further than he dreamt of!!
