Pledge signed ~ thought I already did it.

Will keep info...thank you Dande From Site just a clip!

"We, civil society organizations, trade unions, farmers and grassroots activists from both sides of the Atlantic oppose TTIP, CETA, TiSA and TPP. These sinister trade deals threaten our democracy, public services, and social & environmental standards, and jeopardize small-scale quality farming, food and pharmaceutical standards, the indispensable energy transition, and our right and ability to change society for the better. The beneficiaries of these agreements are the big corporations who designed and lobbied for them, not citizens."

The Unitarian Universalist sells Fair Trade items that many members might use, like coffee, candy and a small amount of other foods. Every bit helps.

Fair Trade goods are just that. Fair that comes from far-away farms to you and the products have fair trade logo and it comes from farmers and workers who are justly paid and they help farmers in developing countries build businesses. They teach them how to use the free market to their advantage, which, in turn, improves the whole community, when we buy. (little info for those who needed it :))
I also buy fair trade, as often as possible. love the homemade body lotion, nuts, seafood, wine, honey, crafts of all sorts....just look for the logo on products.
Great info and thanks for sharing.

When I click the link it takes me to a world map. I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with it.
Maybe or more likely, there's a problem with my phone, but I can't take any actions.

This is a link for the EVENTS that are coming up. As people formulate their events they will list it on this map or the link. This is so you can PREPARE to attend one of them. Gives you a little time as it is in Oct. to attend or to make an event happen of your own and post it here.

Noted with thanks for posting one of the most critical issues out there. Thanks Dandelion. We should sign all petitions and those who can physically do so, attend events. That really gets their attention. If these secretive trade deals go through, there will no doubt, be no more Care2.

I agree Janice, they'll have them on the slow lane at best, and price them out of existence.
