I hope you can help Christeen, this article explains how. Not everyone can run around the streets like I am doing handing out flyers and talking to people, setting up tables and enrolling more voters. But this article explains how people can help that may be up in age, disabled, lack transportation, or live in a rural area.

We need to reach more people than just ourselves on C2. This is an article that will help to do that and you can be at home still but become an effective volunteer. Don't forget the debates this Tuesday night.

I am overwhelmed that the runners are now because I don't know which one I will vote for one of them. But no way to vote Trump, Hillary and Jeb Bush for me!

Barbara, look closely into Bernie and what he stands for. He has been in with the Independent Party and by his doing this has learned to work with both Parties. Unless you are extremely well off financially I can't see anyone on the Republican side that is going to make your life better. I also agree with you on Hillary, for me the only real choice that we have for "The People" IS Bernie Sanders.

Ma man, BERNIE!!!!!!!! I've been wearing my Money Out, Bernie In pin everywhere and my Feel the BERN pin too. I do this in a town that is overwhelmingly Tea Baggerville. Not one, NOT ONE, has had the cajones to confront me about the 'Socialist Commie. But many have smiled, made a point to look at the pins and nod in agreement. So, it gives me some hope against hope that even in this backwoods, inbred, podunk, FundyFascistBaggerTown, there are a few of us Dems/Progressives/Socialists remaining here.

Shared this! and, I happen to have just this morning, sent [another!] donation by mail, to Sanders' campaign.
He's raised almost as much as Hillary, but from SMALL donations! representing of course, many MORE PEOPLE donating.
Voter Registration is VERY important. I have done that in the past. Also, you can join the Democratic Party SO YOU WILL HAVE A VOICE IN YOUR LOCAL PARTY CAUCUS. The fight is going to be, WHO will be their Candidate after the Democratic Convention? Local people and organizations can be decisive...

I have also sent some letters, not just to newspapers, but to my local Democratic elected officials, saying I was for Bernie! Seemed like a good idea...influencing their opinions... that Bernie is not just a "freak", as the Establishment likes to think. Already his campaign is pushing OTHER DEMS to the Left... to the PEOPLE'S way...

Just came across this, and SHARED it in the Care2 group, "Protest Songs!"

http://berniepost.com/2015/10/bernie-sanders-recorded-folk-album-28-years-ago/

With others, Bernie recorded an Album in Vermont in November 1987, titled "We Shall Overcome".

Sounds like this could be used to appeal to some young people!

Wow, I missed that Video two months back!
THANK YOU for this Video of some actual soundtrack from the album!

I RE-POSTED this Video in the Care2 group, "Protest Songs!"
Anybody is INVITED to join that group, by the way. It's a lively one...

THAT SONG OUGHT TO GO VIRAL - it would land Bernie in the White House, all right!
And YAY for Woodie Guthrie, too! his SPIRIT LIVES ON... still DOING GOOD!

Thx Sheryl.
One thing most certainly millions of Americans can do to help Bernie, though indirectly, and unknowingly, is by WATCHING TONIGHT'S DEBATE. I am sure so many, too many, will actually see and hear him for the very first time and may even have never even known WHO HE IS.
That should make a huge difference!
I'll keep my fingers crossed, also that I won't fall asleep during debate ;) wee wee hours over here..
GO BERIE GIVE EM HELL-but stay polite and peaceful as you ALWAYS have. Don't let them take you down!

Noted. Thanks for posting, Dandelion. Excellent points in the article.
Have signed the "Good Luck Message" and got my T-shirt. And, I'm spreading the word where I can. All my kids are spreading the word where they can....hubby, too. We had well over 10,000 people at the Bernie rally here in Tucson, which was excellent news----esp. since they had 12,000 up in Phoenix only a few months ago. Will continue to do what I can when feeling better.

Bernie Sanders cleaned up on the social media service, rapidly outpacing the other four candidates when it came to adding new followers.

Sanders gained 35,163 new followers during the 150-minute debate. Meanwhile, the other four Democrats gained a total of just 23,219 new followers — combined — led by Hillary Clinton, who added 13,252 new Twitter followers by herself.

Per your offering:

Calling it a gaffe of historic proportions, many political insiders were still scratching their heads Wednesday morning over Sanders’s bizarre decision to act toward his opponent as if she were a fellow human being.

“Bernie Sanders’s behavior towards Hillary Clinton Tuesday night has raised some grave questions about him in voters’ minds,” Foyler said. “If he treats people with decency and civility now, what kind of President would he be?”

I know, how awful, Bernie is respectful of others and threats people with dignity. Terrible how awful. Will that be something the public will "get"......lol

On the flip side we have Trump beating on his chest and ready to claw apart anyone that might even think to even "question" him. On Ben Carson, Trump said something like, he's been too nice, but I just might have to stop being nice to him if he climbs any higher in the polls.

I at least give Trump credit when he said, "I don't have to spend money on getting attention to my Campaign as the Corporate Media has given me plenty of attention."

And it's true, I'll flip on TV once in awhile here or there, like making my bed or dusting in the rooms with the TV and sure enough, doesn't matter what is being discussed, like the shooting in Oregon or whatever, up flashes breaking news to show Trump standing at some podium talking to a crowd or whatever, and they leave it on as Trump drones on and on and on......meanwhile......the might of been "important" information is lost.

I say it might of been important information, TV, doesn't offer that much anymore. But it might of been, even Jon Stewart us to use that in his comedy routines. Someone truly offering some important information to be broken into for some "lame" non news.

Some key highlights out of what you offered.

Most media elites are so distanced from ordinary people, and have been rubbing shoulders with conventional politicians for so long, that they don’t really get how alien and off-putting most politicians sound to the average person.

The average American, by contrast, has been saying for years that she doesn’t like attack ads or their journalistic equivalent.

If the first half of Sanders’s secret weapon is how he speaks, the second half is what he says. The political and media class in Washington haven’t caught up to this either, but Sanders’s basic message is one that very large numbers of Americans agree with: The system is rigged.

And they find it refreshing that finally there is a politician who says it with the kind of conviction and track record that makes it believable, not just a campaign posture.

My comment:

Hillary came off as she is, affluent, out of touch or the term we use over here "a Johnny come lately" and is now telling us "how" it is going to be done. Now that she supposedly "gets it" change will come from her within the confines of we'll give you a "little" change just to keep you quieter or a bit happier. Bernie says what we all know and invites us all to the party of change that requires a major overhaul......the political revolution.

And this last part should be very telling.......

It’s why he is raising as much money as Clinton is, despite forgoing donations from the millionaires and billionaires who dominate every other candidate’s fundraising efforts.

Go Bernie! Come on sanity.

Strange on the hyperlinks.....everyone that was placed on this story are still here.

My daughter wasn't able to watch the debates, she has no TV, a sick child, been at work, so she still hasn't been able to pull up the debates on her I-pad that her brother gave her.

She called me. She does receive things on her phone. Mom according to CNN and other main media they say it was Hillary that won the debate. I said, yes, so they are saying. She said, well that is hard to believe she said because suddenly all my not very political friends are raving about Bernie Sanders.

She said I've been placing things on about him for months. But since they watched him once at the debates they are now digging into a lot more things about him. She said I'm getting meme's, instagram, one line quotes, and videos that everyone is now suddenly posting.

I said, good, I hope they keep that going and then most important go vote. I told her to remind them to actually vote, to be sure they are registered and registered with the Democratic party, unfortunately many States do not let you vote in Primaries as an Independent - which we are the largest voter block but we can't vote in the Primaries so we are stuck with whoever the "registered" Democrats or Republicans vote into the Primaries. It leaves us with "their" choice. This time, myself, and others are telling everyone sign on as Democrat, then one can always change back afterwards.

Good advice, well done! of course, why wouldn't ANYONE be abe to do exactly what Bernie did! LOGICAL!
and NEXT STEPS NEED TO BE FIX THAT TOTALLY SCREWED VOTING AND REGISTRATION SYSTEM, it is a joke, black humor!!
