Sorry for the troubling news but we must know what we are dealing with. There is no fence sitting this is it we have a lot on our plates best understand where one has to stand. As the song states, which side are you on? I feel there are still too many that don't understand the gravity of things.

Interesting video. But I realize that we can vote for whomever we want to and nothing is going to change. The main politicians have their main say and the shadow government makes sure everything is being done in the way they want to. Politicians do not work for their people but for the 1%.
I believe in the meantime we should get rid of all these corrupt politicians and people should govern themselves.
America is indeed in for a shock therapy, but so are many other countries.
Thanks Dandelion.

All of western feudal society is based on elite royalty and warfare with the knight in shiny metal and medals doing a protection racket with a military industrial merchant guild missionary university R&D complex for their interests in a predatory competitive system. Competition for military weapons superiority where you have to quickly determine which of two types of atomic bombs you are going have production lines for pronto.
And the Roman Empire dissolved into a ponzy scheme selling heavenly real estate using witchcraft.
Now it is warfare of multi-national corporate and organizational combat for market share of our limited finite planet hoping to solve things by going to Mars and mining for gold in the asteroid belt or in Greenland, Antarctica, and the bottom of the ocean..

Noted. Yes, great video---thanks for posting, Dandelion.
And, excellent comments above. I do hope everyone at least begins to watch this video---it is so well done that I didn't realize how fast it went.

There were many who wondered what happened to Obama-the-candidate after he took office. I began to call him "Bait-and-Switch-Obama." I see that Hedges & Prof. Hudson also thought so. That is why my next vote will be for the guy who has decades-long record of voting in favor of the 99% rather than the 1%.

And, so I guess it comes down to "debt slavery or revolt." Sounds about right to me.

Pretty telling that money allocated for projects wasn't spent and money to the banks wasn't loaned out but used to buy the stock market back up to super-speculative heights again. Meaning in my estimation a continued starve the government into more privatization and people into military service in order to get the benefits such as they are. Then try to parlay them into position to get job preference as veterans. The angry spirits hovering over them and ourselves from war is a significant hindrance to good social mental health however and will only be more so if we continue down the militarist path.

Thanks for coming back Wilde Thange. The moral compass is gone, we are being ruled by the Corporate and the Sociopaths, greed is embedded deeply, no concern about tomorrow just what a few can rape and pillage today.

We as the majority have been pushed into three places, the military, make money for them by becoming a prisoner or at least a way to rid themselves of people who speak up too loudly as killing too many draws too much attention, or being a consumer.......and now with global markets and the gambling casino on Wall Street and just have Uncle Sam write checks......they don't even care if we can be a consumer. Just die if you can't fit in on these 3 areas.

I feel that the closest we can get to a true revolution, removal of corruption, an earnest and immediate addressing of the climate change issues (as an emergency)--and all other critical issues most important to me, to try to save what's left--is to vote The Green Party--and of course, Bernie, who would have his hands quite ties, but would never give up the good fight. Thanks Dandelion.

PS--I do realize that the one percent control all--and that is the corruption--so whoever gets in has a literal battle on their hands, will basically be disregarded---and if they become too big a thorn in the side--destroyed. History repeating itself. More than 3/4 of the population is virtually a prisoner and middleclass on down is experiencing genocide--as the one percent need the space you're in and what's left of resources. So, this election, for me, isn't merely political. It's spiritual and is possibly the final days of the ongoing fight between good and evil, between survival and total destruction.
There are only 2 candidates who view it the same way--and the one who is free to speak of her plans to be Earth's and all living's salvation---and has the plans to back up her words--is Dr. Jill Stein. I do believe Bernie feels the same, he is very constrained by his party, his passions reined-in.

That's why I support the petition on letting Bernie know that if he were to switch over to The Green Party, I would still support him. Personally, I want him ungagged and want to see Dr. Stein and he work together. I do understand folks balking at this, with the view that he can not beat Trump unless he remains within the Democratic party. However, in short, I feel that not many want Clinton--the bulk of Independents and Progressives are going to stick with Jill and/or Bernie no matter what--most GOP's who usually would stick to the party or die, are looking for an option--most Democrats aren't going to vote for the party, so they're seeking an alternative.

Also, Mother Earth may swing the majority of votes The Green Party's way, with folk's extending wounded, trembling tendrils toward the only political campaign that has any morals and views the environmental issues as an emergency--and has the plans to quickly put things in motion. Dr. Jill Stein said that is her number one action if elected. So, she's reportedly willing to step aside and allow Bernie to have the presidential nominee for The Green Party. She is allegedly urging him to do so, for the parties sake, as it would permanently elevate it's status--and for Earth's and all living's sake. She would either be running or help mate, according to the report. It is a wild dream--but time's are wild!! Thanks again, Dandelion.

Thanks Sheryl for posting this really great video. Imagine if 'Days of Revolt' was on prime-time instead of Dancing With the Stars or what's called news. I also watched part one, and Michael Hudson paints a great analogy of how a parasite uses enzymes to numb the host and make it believe that the parasite is a functional part of the host. Pretty much describes our society: numb and believes the parasites are the producers. And i agree, if someone (not of the 1%) isn't a consumer of merit, then they really have no value as a human being in this system.

But in addition to the predator class, i think the ego of much of the "common people" is a big part of the problem. Many are so eager to identify with labels to aggrandize themselves that not only do they ignore what's going on, they feel threatened by those who question the system they identify with. So they glorify some buffoon like Trump or Reagan who says " USA USA!!" while thinking the common sense ideas of Bernie Sanders, or Chris Hedges, is some radical threat.

Glad you watched part 1 as well Bryan. I debated placing part 1 on with a link to part 2 within the thread but I know it is hard pressed to get even people on C2 to watch anything beyond 5 minutes long. So I picked part 2 and hoped those who had gone that far would take it upon themselves to watch the other - BOTH parts were excellent.

Correct as well Bryan, it takes the "common" people to keep this mess going. As John Trudell would say in his talks he'd give, "they mine the minds of the people to go along with the mining of the lands." The people have been convinced that this is the way to live.....the way to do things; which keeps the machine running.

Indeed Darren it was worth watching......explains a lot and clear understandable ways by a man who is worthy to explain it.

Yes i remember that talk from John Trudell (must've been one of your posts) and it's certainly true. Too many people's minds have been convinced that it's lack of hard work to blame for financial failure, instead of realizing that it's basically a racket where the wealthiest inflate their pile of money based on producing nothing while harming the real economy and the real environment. Though those people seem pretty eager to blame some other group of working people in the first place.
