Noted, signed, and posted to Facebook and Twitter. Prison for profit is a bad idea, almost as bad an idea as health care for profit.

There are some things that "making FINANCIAL profit" only makes sense, when you take certain valuable traits of human behavior out of the equation; compassion, conscience, equability and a respect for others and for the land.

When you have health care based on "profit" those who benefit financially will find every way to cut corners to give you the least care possible - this is what is happening in the USA.

When you make money off of human bondage - those who make money off of this will find more reason to fill those cells and keep you there. Inmates once in there are tripped up for minor infractions all the time just to add more onto their sentences. More and more laws are made to place more bodies in those cells all the time. Is why we have over 2 million behind bars - another 7 million tied to the criminal justice system via probation, parole and other things that also generate money for a few.

These private prisons are like slavery was in the past. The people that make money off of human suffering and bondage will be paid back 10 fold!
Absolutely signed and shared! Thanks, Dandelion!!!
