The problem doesn't go away just because it was reported a few days ago. . .

Terrible! Thanks Dandelion for posting. It's almost the same in Egyptian Government Hospitals except that the Egyptian situation has different roots - but I know what Greece is going through and what the patients and hospital staff are facing.

Greece can say thank you to the IMF and the situation in Egypt is worsening since the implementation of those tough measures required by the IMF to qualify for a loan. Ain't that a great system to "help" countries?! I don't know of any country who has received IMF loans who doesn't spiral downwards at an ever faster pace.

Yet - people don't want to see it and politicians know it ... but go for it anyway. Latest example see Egypt (again) and the 12 Bio$ loan ... One can't help but wonder: why???

It would be nice if one exposed a story and the masses would rally and the politicians would sit around a desk and go, we must fix this asap, and then DO something that would truly help not hinder.

This world is becoming to a place where you have enough money you can buy your freedom, medical care, clean water......but there will come a time that even the greatest will fall - it is just too bad the those who didn't cause it to begin with are the first to go.

We've been watching the Greeks suffer under the weight of forced IMF unfair and unworkable budget cuts that surely guaranteed their failure. Their short term so called help has caused the Greeks long term disaster.

Correct austerity doesn't work and it is only to prop up those that already have too much.

If austerity was imposed on the Elites, Corporate Capitalists, rich and wealthy folk, AS WELL as the rest of us, it would quickly be dismantled and removed, as those Elites, Corporate Capitalists, rich and wealthy folk would be unable and unwilling to endure.
