How could we have ever believed that it is a good idea to grow our food with poisons? Dr. Jane Goodall

The UN report states unequivocally that the storyline perpetuated by companies like Monsanto—the one that says we need pesticides to feed the world—is a myth. And a catastrophic myth at that.

The fact that both these reports made headlines in mainstream outlets like the Washington Post and the Guardian is, on one hand, good news. On the other, it's a sad and discouraging commentary on our inability to control corporate greed.

traditional methods have higher yields than Monsanto's approach in most countries and are less expensive for the farmers. Thanks for the reminder Dandelion

Now more than ever we need to see the truth about these chemicals that is being publicized by these two worldwide reports. With Trump in office, of course, we know that information like this is going to be ignored and/or suppressed in this country. It can't be stressed enough that we could feed the world if we would work at resolving problems such as inequality and distribution issues, instead of mindlessly pouring poisons onto our crops. I agree it is good to see this information in mainstream publications. Thanks Dandelion.

Much of our so called progress in the past several centuries has led us to destruction-not enlightenment. We have proven over and over that natural is best. When are we going to believe it, fight for it, and go back to a simpler, healthier way of life?

❤️Noted...i think my Dad was ahead of his time. When the lands department said he had to spray noxious weeds and blackberries, we kids were not allowed out of the house. He said the poison was dangerous for kids. He didn't like the highly toxic sprays he was forced to use. Unfortunately not all people followed this rule and years later when those kids grew up some of them had deformed children. That was in the 1950's and 60's. So goodness knows how much more toxic some of these sprays and toxins have become and the truth is elusive and we the public are treated like mushrooms and kept in the dark.❤️

❤️Thank you dANDELION❤️

Where We the People can, we must grow as much of our own food as possible. When I had a house with a yard, I would grow my own organically.

We must remember Pam that Monsanto has been doing it's damage through both Republican and Democrat Administrations.
