Said she will get a Lawyer but according to the video on the article no one has won these disputes when the border wall was increased in the past.

Surely she knew that land has been confiscated in the past for existing wall areas so why did she vote Trump? I don't feel sorry for any of the Trump voters that voted for him because they like one thing he promised while ignoring all the lies. Unbelievable that people don't look at the whole picture.

❤️❤️Noted...Well, he Trump did say he was going to build a wall all through the election campaign and some still voted for him, so why are they complaining now. If you vote for a nuff, nuff decision you get what you deserve. Having said that I do feel sorry for them.❤️❤️

No one looks an the entire picture. . . . if Democrats did, they would wake up to the deceit, sociopathy and villainy of the Clinton Cartel.

Trump sold them an illusion but the Democrats had nothing to sell - hence is why we have Trump. The Dem's should have been able to beat him, but they sided with the Corporate donors, tried to win over Republicans instead of speaking to the working people and actually working for those people instead of the 1%. Then act like they haven't a clue to what is going on.

Thanks Dandelion for the link to the article by Tom Boggioni. We already know that Trump does not think things trough. The Rio Grande river is 600+ miles for the border. Put up a wall and the US citizen living along the river will not have access to the river water and Mexico will then own the river.

Power-possessors and people addicted to the acquisition of wealth, rarely think anything through properly. They're just identified and addicted to more power, more control, more exploitation, more wealth, more. . .

As for having any sense of ethics, morality and compassion for one's fellow man, conscience is lacking. . .

This is just the kind of situation that few people were able to foresee when Trump started bloviating about the wall. I had seen a couple of discussions of the huge problems that would arise with attempting to build this wall. This government is behaving more and more like a criminal gang.

The binational Tohono O’odham Tribe has been fighting against this wall for quite some time, although it's getting almost no media attention. They have been trying to get McCain to listen to them in Arizona, because they control 75 miles of land along the border.

Another problem is that if I remember correctly, some of the wall will have to pass right through the Rio Grande River. This is one of Trump's more asinine ideas. Thanks Dandelion.

“We are tired. People are ready to give up. We are alone. Russia never gets tired. It will win because it waits.”

That is the problem, people wear out after a bit but not the Empire.

What a sad article, Arild, it ended with

“On Easter, I used to go down and shake hands across the fence with my old Ossetian friends,” Mekavishvili, 53, said. “The Russians don’t like this. So my friends don’t do it anymore.”

The burly, white-haired farmer said his Ossetian friends’ children didn’t remember the good old days of ethnic coexistence. The younger Ossetians didn’t know Georgians at all, he said. He said they hated him.

Terrible how Govt.'s turn people against each other........

Yes, AND how terrible that governments and those in control are so insular and insecure in their own positions of power, egoism, vanity, that the only way to maintain that power base IS to keep people segregated.

How terrible that governments and those in control are so insular and insecure in their own positions of power, egoism, vanity, that the only way to maintain that power base IS to keep people segregated / split up / divided and at loggerheads with one another. Tiring being played, isn't it. . . even more so when you don't even realize you are being played as a puppet.

Sheryl G (359)
Thursday April 6, 2017, 5:38 pm
I know and it was one of his main things he pushed all the time, the Big Beautiful Wall he was going to build. He said it over and over again Julie yet they still vote for him.

That and his repeal and replace Obamacare. When I read that a lot of people didn't even know they were on Obamacare thinking it was some other type of insurance not what they were on. You know you just can't make this up. No wonder the 1% have been able to screw us over so badly.

I don't understand why the US government would want to give up US land to Mexico just to build a wall. Like they are saying it has happened before so it is not just this one person. Also it has been reported recently that a long stretch of border is a river we share with Mexico in order to build a wall that covers the entire border they will have to let Mexico have all of the river. According to some reports all the land that a wall could be built on already was built before Trump ran for President. What was left could not have a wall because of the river or mountainous terrain. They had increased border security in the places a wall could not be built and it was supposedly working. Supposedly illegals coming over the border had been reduced.

As for people voting for Trump. The Democrats lied too. They sold us out for large corporations. it would have been nice if people had voted for Jill Stein instead of Trump but people can't seem to bring themselves to vote for third party candidates yet. Maybe this will end that issue. I couldn't have voted for him no matter who was running against him. However, people believed he would work for them and bring jobs back. Now we are all finding out the truth and need to find a way to work together to fight this. if someone who was for Trump is now against him that is good for the fight. We shouldn't still be squabbling over the election that is over and done with. We need everyone we can to fight what he is trying to do to us.. United we stand divided we fall.

You know I was talking to someone this past week about all the corruption in our government and the terrible things Trumps budget was going to do. The person said to me you don't live in a Democracy you live in a fascist oligarchy so get used to it. This is supposedly a patriotic Independent who leans Republican and supports Trump still and he is not wealthy. I just looked at him like he had just said the most incredibly stupidest thing I ever heard. At that point I gave up having the discussion you can't argue with someone who thinks like that. The fascist oligarchy is not in the constitution. The constitution not what some people did to us in secret is America, These people who do things in secret and sometimes right out in the open to get around the constitution and concentrate power in the hands of a few unelected people are traitors and are committing treason and act punishable by death at one time. I know another person who won't hear anything against Trump because she voted for him so she is burying her head in the sand pretending what people are saying about him is not true and its just them being partisan and she is elderly on Medicare and not wealthy. She stands to lose big under Trump and she is still supporting him. These are people in my family people I love. These people are not dumb but they used to watch Fox news and now they have been brainwashed.

This building a wall bullsh$t is just the atypical type of puerile, adolescent reaction that a teenager gives to someone when they don't or can't get their own way. This kind of behavior manifesting in a supposed adult is very dangerous and symptomatic of a very unhealthy, unbalanced human being.

Noted. I guess that's the problem with populist politics. They're designed to be headline grabbing, and attractive to many, but are not really thought through properly, and it needs an opposition party to be able to reason properly and rationally so that everyone knows what they are letting themselves in for if they vote this way or that. (No, we don't have that set up in the UK, either! It's all too often Punch and Judy style debating.)

There's a great line from MacBeth that sums up this up.
It goes something like this : . :
"That we but teach bloody instructions, which once taught,
return to plague the inventor. This even handed justice commends
the ingredients of thy poisoned chalice, to thine own lips".
In other words : Bad Karma. OR perhaps better called, Karmic Justice.
I have sympathy for most of Trumps' victims. But zero sympathy for
the ones who voted for him, not being upset by his calls for intolerance or outright
hate, and then discovering that they themselves, not some feared "other", would
be subject to that same intolerance and hate.. Like I said.. Karmic Justice

There is always the impression that many people who voted for Trump ended up being like Turkeys voting for Christmas. If anything the only thing Mexicans will be doing to the wall is relieveing themselves on it and judging by the shoddy construction of fences at the Menies Estate it would likely fall over after a couple of weeks.

Sheryl G (359)
Saturday August 12, 2017, 7:33 am
I have no clue Jeanne. He was very clear about this Wall, one would think if they were going to be near this wall at all and it was something they didn't want, they should have voted for someone else. The Green Party wasn't talking about a wall nor the Democrats. I don't even think the Libertarian Party was pushing a wall so there were other options. People are foolish that is all I can say.
