No Military Escalation in Syria - Petition

World  (tags: codepink, petition, Syria, bombing, Trump Administration, Donald Trump )

Further US intervention in the war in Syria will only exacerbate an already dreadful situation. There is no military solution to this crisis. Demand that the Trump administration stop its dangerous escalation.

Absolutely signed.

Escalation blocks peace-building, increases distrust & hatred of Western powers - really only benefits the extremists. Who might well be the real guilty parties concerning the sarin, anyway.

I find it hard to believe that we steadfastly refuse to learn from history and past misadventures. I do not support military adventures foreign or domestic. I do support bridges that are safe to cross, damns that will hold, railways that can relieve congestion on our roadways, actions to diminish injury and sickness, healthy, productive, skilled and educated employees. Lets allocate our resources appropriately. - Signed.

"Tis the doom of men that they forget." Merlin, Excalibur.

Brought into the present contemporary flow of time, power-possessors still possess this wanton disregard for allowing other countries to manage their affairs as they see fit, like to intervene, exploit, take control, and screw everything up for the ordinary everyday citizen.

This model is applicable worldwide.

As a test of his convictions and grandiose negotiating savvy have him put Eric and Donald on the front line. If you can't convince them what can really be expected from the rest? Same with the rest of 'em. If you can't convince your own flesh and blood to serve on the front line, then what do you want from anyone else?

Its no different from what he is doing right now. America first for him begins with him and his family profiting before anyone else.

Got that and he seems to be doing okay. Heck he doesn't even have to pay for flying to Florida every weekend to play golf anymore, and that is only the beginning of it.

Yes - if one could reallocate the public (tax payers') money from his Florida trip, security for his scattered family & his trips, security for DeVos because she's scared by her unpopularity, one could afford many of the budget items he's ruthlessly cutting ...

And if one could allocate the costs of those Tomahawks also to this fund ...

Marco - but didn't you know, DT IS America now -
IF there is anything left over once the Trump "needs" are met, well - maybe a few drops can be overtly, "generously", allocated to the National Parks service ???????

Peace in Syria might be on the agenda - there'll be massive building needed, big contracts to be grabbed there ...
