Reduces Medicaid payments by capping federal funding per person. Taken together, the law cuts over $800 billion from Medicaid over 10 years, which is roughly the cost of the tax cuts on high earners it would enact.

It is also 25% of the total federal money for Medicaid reducing money available for care--can a hospital only give your 75% of what you need and get the intended outcome? Someone who was eligible to vote clearly has no clue about how funding relates to care. Thanks Dandelion (original ACA data was that this part of the program saved at least 600 lives per year).

"But prior to passage of the Affordable Care Act, the landmark law commonly known as Obamacare, some 45,000 Americans died annually due to their lack of health insurance, according to a 2009 Harvard study."

How the hell would he know?!?!?
He gets his elite health cover, paid by you the people doesn't he?!?!?

Shared news article and analysis over social media to raise and spread awareness.

Sadly, this is EXACTLY the case with the NHS and healthcare in Britain as well.

How do so many psychologically & emotionally BLIND (lepers) get elected?
I'm beginning to wonder if "stupid" is a pre-condition for success in the GOP?

I could wish a plague to fall on them all. Something permanent, something not easily cured by top specialists - something triggering genetic problems, not a contagious disease that they can infect their constituents with ...

I'd like to ask Representative Labra-dumb if he keeps his head up his a*s because it's nice and warm up there, or because he prefers the view. If ignorance was baseball, he'd be the New York Yankees.

Great graphic for this article, Dandelion. A lot of "pro-lifers" are that way, wanting every conception to see the light of day but not giving a rat's arse afterwards.

Yes, people go on about pro-life when it comes to abortion but don't care about humans when they come out of the womb and become people. If they did they would have a decent system like most of the countries in the world have.

We have wealthy donors who put these idiots up for elections. They don't really have to be smart they just have to be willing to say certain things so they can get handsomely rewarded or they truly are so ignorant they do believe it.

I can almost understand the ones who get paid for being an arsehole there are many who would sell their own Mother if it meant getting their pockets lined. I also understand there have been enough of them that have been brainwashed since birth to believe this; hence why these private schools scare the crap out of me.

But it is frightening to think that there is enough people living in this Country that actually votes for them in numbers large enough to keep these idiots in there. It is why we are no longer a first world Nation, we are still considered so because we have a BIG military and no one wants to say to much against it for fear of ending up on the wrong side of the missile being launched.

We are being gutted out from the inside and if one travels to many places in the USA it reflects that.

It is a shallow observation, but the Republican Party are not an smart lot, are they? I mean, if all those people were born in the same town, you would blame bad parenting or perhaps the genepool is a bit too shallow.

Thanks Dandelion for sharing the link to the article by Daniel Marans. I'm sure the bill passed by the House will be torn apart in the Senate. Will it be better? I seriously doubt it. Rep. Raul Labrador needs to be unemployed!
Noted.
