dt won't listen, nor heed this warning, he's in it for his own personal gain, alongside with his cronies.
We'll all listen and hear these words of caution, but imho....he (dt) doesn't care one iota of what we think, or how we respond to his hate.

Thanks, Dandelion.

WOW it's all there, everything i've been considering, what we discuss & this guy is so sure!

"American fascism would spring from its capacity for global violence, a vision of exceptionalism, a belief in an inevitable and final war between good and evil, the cult of a strong state leading that battle, and a cult of the 'strong leader'. "
"Galtung said all of those elements presented themselves during the Bush era, but he fears fascist tendencies could sharpen under Trump as those cultists lash out in disbelief at the loss of American power."

Will trump make a surprising shift in his persona & policies?

We've been watching it happen Dandi!!!

Scary prediction but all too likely for America to decline under Trump.

What a dark black cloud in the morning to walk me into the night terrors that await. I disagree. I think that we the people are too strong and set in our ways, loving our freedom and our rights and using them so often that we would allow this trickster or any other to take it away. Remember, it only took 1/3 of the colonist in the Revolution to do something about freedom, equality, liberty and the right to live in happiness and peace.
1/3 of the colonist whipped the best army, navy and generals in it's day and even if we don't last as long as Rome we are not going down anytime soon. People are starting to take notice. Waking up. Tuning in.
That is what I dwell on. Courage is the dna that is in the bones and blood of everyone and those who love freedom will join us.

I hope you are correct Trish, but I've not seen it thus far. Too many waited too long. It will take a major turn at this point. There are still too many who are comfortable and I am not sure if they have the spine as in the past. We have a bill right now in the House and Senate to remove our rights of protest, it will be up to a million fine and 20 years in prison. Is anyone even aware of it, let alone standing up to it.

Peace appeals to the hearts; studies to the brain. Both are needed, indeed indispensable. But equally indispensable is a valid link between brain and heart.

Dandelion will be familiar with this one. . . . it refers to a harmonious balance between the energies within.

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life:

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy."It is a terrible
fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy,
sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment,
inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued,
"The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and
faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other
person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather: "Which wolf will win?"

You might heard the story ends like this: The old Cherokee simply
replied, "The one you feed."

In the Cherokee world, however, the story ends this way:

The old Cherokee simply replied, "If you feed them right, they both
win." and the story goes on:

"You see, if I only choose to feed the white wolf, the black one will be
hiding around every corner waiting for me to become distracted or weak
and jump to get the attention he craves. He will always be angry and
always fighting the white wolf. But if I acknowledge him, he is happy
and the white wolf is happy and we all win. For the black wolf has many
qualities - tenacity, courage, fearlessness, strong-willed and great
strategic thinking - that I have need of at times and that the white
wolf lacks. But the white wolf has compassion, caring, strength and the
ability to recognize what is in the best interest of all.

"You see, son, the white wolf needs the black wolf at his side. To feed
only one would starve the other and they will become uncontrollable. To
feed and care for both means they will serve you well and do nothing
that is not a part of something greater, something good, something of
life. Feed them both and there will be no more internal struggle for
your attention. And when there is no battle inside, you can listen to
the voices of deeper knowing that will guide you in choosing what is
right in every circumstance. Peace, my son, is the Cherokee mission in
life. A man or a woman who has peace inside has everything. A man or a
woman who is pulled apart by the war inside him or her has nothing.

"How you choose to interact with the opposing forces within you will
determine your life. Starve one or the other or guide them both."

The only thing we learn from history is that we don't learn squat from history. History may not quite repeat itself, but it does rhyme.

For a couple years I finished a lot of my comments with "A storm is coming." Now that storm is here - and it is building. Feel that? The wind is picking up. Hear that? The thunder is starting to rumble. Get ready for heavy rain and tornadoes.

Hold on tight and hope that you enjoy the ride.

I suppose we can look at it as being at the end of a failed experiment. Perhaps out of the ashes something a lot better will arise. Yes, karma is a bitch. Just too bad those who did the least to earn it will pay the most for it.

I said this to my son last week when the legal immigration plans were unfolded, universities face penalties or even criminal prosecution for positive discrimination:
He's creating an alt-right heaven? With the mightiest military in the world?
I'm not supportive of DT-regime nor of any other fascist regime and I'm not buying nor hiring American since election.

I wish all you unsupportive of his regime all the luck and strength you need, it's going to be a while.
