Maria, the strongest storm to hit Puerto Rico since 1928, had maximum sustained winds of 155 mph when it made landfall as a Category 4 storm. Puerto Rico is now completely under a Flash Flood Warning. If possible, move to higher ground NOW!

Great - another disaster upon us. Just when I am between jobs, already gave to hurricane relief efforts, and had some expensive maintenance done on my car. I'll have to coax my friends and acquaintances into giving.

I'm afraid that all of these recent disasters are a sign of things to come because of climate change.

I have the same fears as Sue. Katrina marked the beginning of the trend. This article and other sources are saying that will be at least six months before they have some return to normalcy in Puerto Rico.

We can all pray or meditate in whatever way we do that, for the people of Puerto Rico, and all the others suffering from so many natural disasters.

Islands and coastal areas best take heed. If you can't believe science believe what you see.
