Republican leaders are again making a last-ditch attempt to repeal the ACA and gut Medicaid. Schools could lose $4 billion in Medicaid support. Medicaid covers 40 percent of all children and 60 percent of all special needs children.

Well when I left MA there were GOP in there. I thought my State had flipped its lid. Remember William Weld, Paul Cellucci, Jane Swift followed by Mitt Romney. I was spared the last two Republicans as I was in Florida at the time and it wasn't as bad then, until the Tea Baggers got in all over the place in 2010, which included here in Florida.

Thankfully MA had a long list of Democrats in the Senate with the exception of Scott Brown.....again during a time of Republican Gov. How he ever got in Ted Kennedy's seat is beyond me. MA lost its senses around then.

Yes, I do miss things about MA but I've found a little haven here in the South in a University town so it stays pretty open minded here. I couldn't live in many parts of the south, I'd loose my mind.

Well- it looks like that's another one dumped ...
Thanks goodness.

BUT - when will they realise that "repeal" isn't the answer - ACA is a good STARTING POINT to build on & improve what doesn't work so well.
AND - improvement means greater inclusion, not cut people to cut costs.

How long before this GOP crowd coughs up yet another dud proposal???

They waste more time and tax dollars doing this BS. We spend all our time fighting them off so we never get the Universal Health Care we need and at least 60% of citizens want. I believe the figure would be higher if it was explained truthfully to the people.
