Trump undeterred has repeatedly bragged that billions of dollars are pouring into the coffers of the USA due 2 tariffs being charged to China. Those tariffs are not being charged to China. They are being charged to American importers passing 2 consumers.

Shameful to continue to read how the heartless bas*ard in office continues to make more suffer. Wish tRump would disappear from our planet and we could have someone step in who can turn all of the negatives that tRump has caused back in a forward motion.
Thanks Sheryl

Raleigh you are so correct he doesn't know a damn thing, he put his casino's into bankruptcy. Who they heck as ever heard of a Casino losing money! Is why Vegas is doing so well, it's always in their favor, but Donald managed to mess that up among many other things.

The last I've heard about China-US trade negotiations is that China agreed to continue buying soya beans and some other unspecified agriculture products, but quantities are not specified yet.
China generally has no issue with GMOs, so this is good for US farmers, and also China really can not reorient fast enough to grow all they need domestically. Of course, there can always get those products from Brazil and Argentina, but China wants to keep trading with the US.

Thanks Jelica. These negotiations may not be done in time to save some of these farmers.

Warming climate has increased bee mites, so over 50% of hives are dying off. (https://www.northcountrypublicradio.org/news/npr/694301239/massive-loss-of-thousands-of-hives-afflicts-orchard-growers-and-beekeepers). Neonicotinides are decimating more hives, and the insect world in general. Pollination of crops has become much more expensive as hives must be trucked in over further distances. Now the farmers are going bankrupt. And many companies are noting a shortage of imported raw materials thanks to tariffs, so basic items are becoming more costly to make. Notice the price of staples going up in the stores? (https://www.pressherald.com/2018/08/14/retailers-like-walmart-may-raise-prices-on-household-staples/). So much winning...

Seems we were having problems before Agent Orange came into office; however, it's only gotten worse with him in charge. Certainly, the tariffs don't help.
