Great news...These big guys haven't caught to many breaks in recent years, but hopefully the tide is turning. Thanks Suzy

Wonderful News! So glad to hear that Safeway is paving the way for much more sustainable tuna fishing which doesn't kill so many other marine species and juvenile fish! Hopefully we will see other supermarkets and retailers who will follow Safeway's good example. Kudos to Greenpeace who has really brought this to the public's attention and put pressure on these supermarkets! Thanks Suzy for this good news.

Well, you can't accuse Safeway of being the "chicken of the sea"! The company that bears that name probably had no idea just how appropriate that moniker would become --and not in a flattering way.

KUDOS to Safeway!

Some good news, however I pride myself that I am not part of this at all by being a vegan. We all can make compassionate choices. As long as the demand is there regardless, the industry is killing lives. Thanks.

Yes, probably 'too little too late' - but thank God it's a step in the right direction! Sooner rather than later! Kudos to them for this 'brave move' and may others follow ASAP!

Good for them. But I don't think we've got any Safeways left in this country (Britain) any more.

Thank you, Suzy!
